It is hard to believe this beautiful family has been in our lives for THREE years now. They truly have become part of OUR family. We could never be anymore grateful that our small business has brought along clients, who turn into friends, who turn in family. Capturing this growing family has definitely brought so much meaning into our lives and T&K Photography.
Three years ago we met new mommy & daddy, Kayla and Michael, who just brought Willow into the world. Over the years we have documented every special milestone in their lives. Our favorite moment had to be when Willow announced to the world that she would be a BIG SISTER! We were all over the moon excited to meet the newest addition to the Courtney fam, especially when we found out it would be another GIRL (sorry Michael, you will forever be outnumbered :P). This session is another special one because it is one of the first sessions we have shot with the Courtney's being a family of four. We loved seeing how the dynamic of shooting with them has changed; Willow seriously is getting so big (and beautiful) and she loved showing off her baby sister, Lily Mae loved snuggling onto mommy, Kayla & Michael still the cutest parents on the planet (well, that didnt change), and now we have two beautiful baby girls to hang out with and do silly things to get them to look at the camera. We wouldnt change a thing, we just love this family!
When planning this session, we wanted to do something a little different. We also wanted to say goodbye to the winter weather and bring some spring in! The amazing owners of Knox Photo Bus were generous enough to let us borrow their antique VW bus, named Stella (how cute is that?!) for this session and it made the perfect prop! We also were able to shoot on their lake-side property, a new wedding venue, called Gallaher Bend. You should check it out, it is incredible.
